It is an adaptation of the traditional Mexican celebration set aside to honor our ancestors and the lives of our loved ones who have passed on.  The community is invited to participate in a a colorful celebration of life!  We will start on the McGuffey Art Center Lawn where luminary bags will be provided to you to write names and messages for your loved ones who have passed on.  Each person will receive a candle to place in the bag.  You are welcome to bring flowers, mementos or pictures to also place on the table of honor.  We will then have a procession in song through the McGuffey Art Center into studio 11 and place the Luminaries and mementos on and around the table of honor.  Everyone is then welcome to participate in community with music, dance, art and food.
